 PRESENTATION OF SLOVENE AUTOMOTIVE SUPPLIER
INDUSTRY IN VOLVO CAR CORPORATION AND VOLVO TRUCKS
Business mission from Automotive Cluster of Slovenia, under guidance
of Mr Dusan Busen, director of ACS have visited Volvo Car Corporation
in Göteborg.Volvo Car Corporation visited 14 Slovene automotive industry suppliers. Visit was organized under the initiative of Slovene Embassy in Stockholm and Mrs. Milanka Jakopic. Those Slovene suppliers were: AET Tolmin, CIMOS, Color, EMO- Orodjarna, Gorenje Orodjarna, Inexa Store, ISKRA Mehanizmi, IUV, Kovinoplastika Loz, LIV Plastika, Prevent, Roto, TBP and TPV. Exhibition of products and presentation lasted through all day. Director of the Automotive cluster of Slovenia, Mr Dusan Busen, has presented actions, goals and directions of cluster to the management of the purchase departmant. Slovene suppliers companies have prepared gallery of their innovative products and have presented themselves to approximately 200 experts from Volvo Car Corporation and Volvo Trucks. All visitors were purchase experts from different fields, directors of departments, who are responsible for purchase in company and director of purchase responsible for new markets. They have shown big interest in potential Slovene suppliers. Concrete results of presentation will be possible to review in near future, but we can say for sure that interest for innovative products of Slovene suppliers was bigger than expected.
