Cancellation
Free of charge if notified by 10 May, 2004. Cancellations received after 10 May, 2004 or failure to participate will be fully charged.

Participation fee
EUR 160 (including VAT) for the first participant from a company (members of ACS are free of charge for their first participant).
EUR 110 (including VAT) for each additional participant from a company or research institution and a participant from a company, member of ACS.
Participation fees should be credited to the transaction account with NLB d.d. 02036-0091099734, reference no. 1042, at the latest by 10 May, 2004.

ANNUAL ACS CONVENTION
Themes to be discussed:
  • Market and developmental trends in the automotive and automotive supplier industry, needs of vehicle manufacturers and relationships with suppliers;
  • Using potential for innovation of complex products and advanced technologies in the automotive supplier industry within ACS and with partnerships in neighbouring and nearby regions;
  • Expansion of membership and mutual relations within the ACS cluster and growth in its R&D, educational and other innovative environments in the direction of creating and promoting the Slovenian automotive supplier park;
  • Technological investments of foreign companies in Slovenia, especially in relation to the new vehicle in Revoz, as well as investments of Slovenian companies abroad.
By presenting and discussing the above themes the participants will be familiarised with new business and developmental opportunities, which follow developmental trends in the automotive and automotive supplier industry in Europe and around the world. Participants will also enrich their knowledge in the exchange of good practice for innovation of complex products and advanced technologies in the automotive supplier industry. The convention will host acknowledged Slovenian and foreign lecturers, economists and successful managers of developmental projects in the Slovenian automotive supplier industry.

Simultaneous translation from English to Slovenian and vice versa will be provided.


International ONE-ON-ONE ACS Business Conference
will take place at 1:40 pm at Dom gospodarstva (CCIS) in Ljubljana, Dimiceva 13, Hall B (1st floor) and Classroom D / between 4th and 5th floor.

With the business conference participants will increase the scope of developmental, manufacturing and service cooperation between industrial, developmental and service partners in the field of automotive and automotive supplier activities in Slovenia, and in neighbouring, nearby and other regions.

Representatives of vehicle manufacturers and system suppliers, manufacturers of automotive parts and components, systems and modules, their suppliers and providers of developmental, manufacturing and other services as well as manufacturers of tools and machines for the automotive industry will participate in oneon- one business meetings. The business conference will be international since companies and organisations from Austria (from clusters AC Styria, me2c, AC-TMG etc.), Bavaria (Bavarian initiatives. BAIKA) and Saxony (Silicon Saxony, the AMZ network of automotive suppliers), Hungary (Pannon Automotive Cluster PANAC) and the Russian Federation (the NAPAK automotive suppliers association) as well as companies and organisations from the nearby south-eastern countries (Croatia, BaH, Serbia) and other regions are to participate besides Slovenian industrial and service companies and organisations. It is anticipated that each participant will be able to have up to eight discussions with partners he or she will choose or by whom he or she will be chosen.

Participation procedure:
  • You should let us know about your interest in participating at the international business conference by filling in the questionnaire;
  • Please return your completed questionnaire to the fax no. + 386 1 236 17 33 by Friday, 30 April, 2004. Based on the questionnaire received we will provide you with a password to access the database of companies at the ACS website;
  • You are to choose eight companies from the database that you would like to meet and do so at the latest by Wednesday, 5 May, 2004.
Based on registrations received and data processed, GIZ ACS will make a timetable of discussions for each participant at the conference and send it by electronic mail by Monday, 10 May, 2004. When making timetables for discussions, GIZ ACS will observe the wishes of participants to the highest extent possible. Due to possible changes, which participants may make subsequently, each participant will receive his or her company catlogue and final timetable of discussions on the day of the convention and business conference.
