Luka Koper is a public limited company that develops and manages Port of Koper, Slovenia’s only cargo seaport. With a well-developed network of maritime and intermodal connections, the port has become one of the most significant logistic hubs in the region, serving Central and Eastern European countries. The port offers reliable and flexible services, making it a key player in regional logistics.
Port of Koper is also a major contributor to sustainability goals within the logistics chain, as it provides the shortest and fastest link between Asia and the Mediterranean with European markets. The company operates 12 specialized terminals that handle a wide range of cargo types, including containers, cars, Ro-Ro, various general cargo, dry bulk, liquid bulk, and passenger services.
In 2024, the port achieved a total throughput of 22.5 million tons, including 1.13 million TEUs (twenty-foot equivalent units) and 860,000 car units, making it the largest container terminal in the Adriatic and one of the most important car terminals in Europe.
