Yaskawa began its successful journey in Slovenia in 1990 with a small, driven team of young engineers. In 1996, the company further strengthened its presence by establishing engineering operations to become a provider of comprehensive solutions and an integrator using Yaskawa robots. Today, the company is supported by a dedicated team of 240 employees, including more than 80 highly skilled engineers, whose expertise ensures top-notch solutions for robotics and industrial process automation.

With over 30 years of experience in the Slovenian market, the countries of the former Yugoslavia, and throughout the European Union, Yaskawa has developed a wide range of successfully implemented solutions across various fields of automation. It continuously incorporates the latest scientific advancements into the development and production of industrial robotics technologies. This commitment is one of the reasons why Yaskawa Electric Corporation from Japan entrusted the company with the design of the first robotics factory in Europe. The new Slovenian Yaskawa Europe Robotics factory in Kočevje is the first factory to manufacture robots for the EMEA region.
