This year, the ACS Slovenian Automotive Cluster is celebrating its 25th anniversary. During this time, we have become one of the most recognizable associations in Slovenia, as for a quarter of a century we have been representing and successfully advocating for the interests of our members—companies operating in the Slovenian automotive industry and mobility sector, as well as institutions closely linked to both industries.
Over the course of 25 years of active operation, the ACS Slovenian Automotive Cluster has not only become a pillar of the automotive and mobility industry in our country, but we have also solidified our role and visibility both at home and abroad. By organizing promotional events for potential buyers, we have connected and established contacts with numerous domestic and foreign associations and companies, with a special emphasis on our Chinese partners. By organizing numerous meetings, training sessions, workshops, and conferences, we have established a platform for knowledge exchange. Through our active efforts, we promote a constant flow of ideas and information.
Over the past two and a half decades, we at ACS have built a solid foundation that, through the implementation of numerous development projects and consortium partnerships, enables us to pioneer cutting-edge technologies. A particular milestone is the ambitious GREMO Mission, through which the cluster is actively leading the transition to electric and sustainable mobility. These are the key challenges of the future, to which Slovenian companies under the ACS umbrella are responding with cutting-edge innovations. This significantly boosts the competitiveness of our companies and creates added value for the entire industry.
In addition, the cluster has established itself as a key and active partner in addressing the day-to-day challenges faced by its members, while also serving as a steadfast advocate for their interests in dialogue with the government. By representing the industry’s collective views before decision-makers, ACS ensures a supportive environment for economic growth and technological breakthroughs.
On the occasion of our anniversary, which we will celebrate together with a gala ceremony in November, we at ACS would like to thank all our partners, members, and colleagues who, with their knowledge and energy, have built a solid foundation for the future. Together, we will continue on the path toward greener, smarter, and more connected mobility, with the cluster remaining committed to the development of the Slovenian automotive industry and strengthening its influence in Europe and the world. With an eye toward the future, grounded in innovation and sustainable development, we will continue to be a key driver of progress in Slovenian mobility.
