With the GREen MObility (GREMO) mission, we have achieved significant unity regarding the vision for the development of the entire Slovenian automotive industry and have formed a joint strategy until 2030. We have committed to a comprehensive green and digital transformation of the industry and the companies within it. The mission is a good example of connecting the economy, science and the state, which was recognised as exceptionally positive and supported by the Government of the Republic of Slovenia.
GREMO places the greatest emphasis on the accelerated transition to electromobility, i.e., the transition from the production of components and systems for internal combustion engines to the development and production of components, systems and technologies for electric and electrified vehicles. Slovenian automotive companies are also improving their competitiveness through accelerated digitisation, robotisation and automation, and a significant reduction in the environmental footprint of production and business processes.
