We attended a United Nations Industrial Development Organization UNIDO Expert Group Meeting in Vienna, where we, along with over 100 participants, explored how clusters can adapt and evolve to meet the challenges of digitalization, green transformation, and the current shift in global supply chains.
On behalf of the ACS Automotive Cluster of Slovenia, the Expert Group Meeting was attended by Director Tanja Mohorič and Strategic Projects Coordinator Rok Ban. The Expert Group Meeting included three thematic sessions focused on cluster dynamics, governance and support mechanisms. Participants presented selected case studies and thus demonstrated innovative approaches. In its contribution, ACS emphasized building partnerships based on trust during the transition. India’s Green Threads presented the transformation of textile recycling with circular economy principles. Austria’s Green Tech Valley highlighted the promotion of innovation and cooperation for green growth. Argentina’s Cordoba cluster focused on exploring the impact of artificial intelligence on competitiveness.
