The ACS Slovenian Automotive Cluster has become a member of the CEE Auto HUB, a Central and Eastern European automotive hub operating under the auspices of the European Automobile Manufacturers’ Association (ACEA). This has opened up access to important connections and partnerships, as the localization of supply chains is becoming increasingly important.
Through our membership in CEE Auto HUB, we are establishing closer ties with similar clusters and associations in the Czech Republic (AutoSAP – 128 members/companies), Poland (PZPM – 60 members/companies), Slovakia (ZAP SR – 200 members/companies) , Hungary (MAGE – 70 members/companies), and Romania (ACAROM – 160 members/companies). Together, these countries form one of the most important industrial regions in Europe. It is home to 60 large automotive plants, employing 2 million people across the entire value chain, and the region accounts for nearly one-third of total vehicle production in the EU, driving both the European economy and technological progress.
This opens up numerous opportunities for our members to connect with companies seeking new business partners or opportunities for development cooperation, as the localization of supply chains has become extremely important. We will also be better positioned, together with our partners, to respond to the challenges we are facing in the automotive industry, prepare proposals for measures to support its development, and communicate with the European Commission through the European Automobile Manufacturers’ Association (ACEA), within which the CEE Auto HUB operates. In this way, we ensure that this region is not only a European manufacturing powerhouse but also a strategic force that shapes its own industrial and mobility future and speaks with a single, strong, and expert voice where it matters most.
