Signing of the Contract on the Allocation of Financial Incentive for the Investment Project of the Company Hella Saturnus Slovenija d.o.o., Ljubljana

Ljubljana, 14 March 2014 - Today the Minister of Economic Development and Technology Metod Dragonja and the Managing Director of the company Hella Saturnus Slovenija d.o.o. Christof J. Droste signed the Contract on the Allocation of Financial Incentive for the Investment Project of the Company Hella Saturnus for development expansion and diversification with the aim to achieve global responsibility and increase innovative production processes and introduce new lighting equipment products.

Slovenian companies at the Automechanika Istanbul

Ljubljana, 16 April 2014 - Automechanika Istanbul fair is one of the most important trade fairs not only for Turkey but also for the entire Middle East, North Africa and partly Asia. At a recent Automechanika Istanbul fair were presented four Slovenian companies and the Slovenian Automotive Cluster (ACS). The Turkish market is enormous potential for Slovenia, so cooperation with the Turkish automotive industry as one of the priorities of ACS.

Slovenian suppliers will be presented to the Russian AvtoVAZ

Ljubljana, 1st April 2014 - After a highly acclaimed and successfully executed presentations of Slovenian suppliers at the innovation centers of BMW Group, ŠKODA Auto and FIAT Group, Automotive Cluster of Slovenia and the public agency SPIRIT Slovenija, continue with such a common practice. Another "Slovenian automotive supplier’s days" will be held on the 24th and 25th April 2014 in AvtoVAZ (Togliatti, the Samara Region, Russian Federation), an integral part of the Renault-Nissan.

The debate was about challenges for slovenian automotive suppliers

Ljubljana, 12 May 2014 – »Slovenian automotive industry is facing important demands and challenges in the fields of ecology, safety, reliability and improvements in materials and technologies. The main challenge is how to create a car that is affordable, offers more comfort and it’s ecologically clean." These were opening words of managing director of ACS, Mr. Dušan Bušen, in his opening speech on 9th ACS Convention “Sustainable growth of avtomotive industry in central and SE Europe« which took place on Friday, 9th May 2014 in Ljubljana. The Convention was attended by nearly one hundred major representatives from the economy, ministries, a three-member delegation of representatives of the Japanese car manufacturer association JAMA and other domestic and foreign experts.
